Ciao!
We are finally free for a few minutes to write. Our internet hookup is kind of tricky and we are having trouble with uploading pictures, We will have to describe everything for now. We are doing really well! Meeting lots of new people and going to different places. We have been here for six days and have made and eaten(almost) 6 cakes! Erika is a really good cook and we are going to get fat(grassa)!
Today we trimmed the grapevines. It was beautiful out. There is a big field of clover next to the house that smells really beautiful when the wind blows right. It is a herbal mixture for the animals! There is an animal farm with horses, sheep, ducks and chickens on the next road over. There is also a small family owned vinyard.

On Sunday we had lunch with Erika’s friend and then went to her local swimming pool. After we went out for pizza and gelato. We have been eating lots and lots. Our favorite flavor has to be cioccolata!

Thursday for lunch we are going out with the neighbor Alex and his friends. Then for dinner we are having two young men over for more pizza! We are kind of specimens here…
Yesterday we went to the seaside and on the way learned a whole bunch of new Italian songs including Motociclette, and Notte Magica (about the world cup).

Below are some prunes and figs that we picked up at the market in the city center. It is a beautiful area that does not allow cars but only bicycles and pedestrians. We had a café and some ciabatta ala marmalata-croissants with jam.
