Ciao!

Ciao to everyone. We both are doing really well here. We have been so busy with work and fun that it has been hard to write. This weekend heli went to a fair with erika by the seaside and I stayed at home to help with an "open house". I think that we both are not much help as we cant really say much...but it is fun anyway. We have been working in our garden and also starting to pick up the grapes-vendemia. Tonight I am going to the festival of lombrusco wine which is produced here. We also went to the festa of tortoloni(which as legend says came from the image of the belly button of a beautiful lady that a cook saw through the keyhole of a door...). Every place has a specialty. Its great! We get to eat such good food all the time.
We are learning lots of new phrases (including some in the dialect of modena wich is really beautiful). My favorite are "Bon la zivòla col tòun", and "iv catèe di fonz?" The first is saying how good tuna and onions are and the second is asking if you have found any mushrooms. One for erika and gilbertos father and the other for danieles father.
We are also having fun with our new friends. We are learning all the great italian music-including rap(mondo marcio) and emotional(vasco rossi).
